MLD & COSMETIC SURGERY |
Swelling, bruising and pain can all occur after plastic surgery. This can include face and eye lifts, breast augmentation, body sculpturing, neck abdominal and thigh liposuction. Manual lymphatic Drainage (MLD) helps to eliminate excess fluid thus reducing swollen tissues which will relieve pain and speed up healing. |
| Each session lasts for 45 minutes. The treatment can start as soon as the stitches are removed. An intensive course of treatments is usually recommended. This will include MLD using the Hivamat 200 machine. In the case of facial surgery an Ice Mask can also be used. This will be discussed at the start of the treatment. |
